Comments made by senior Trump advisor Alina Habba on the “disturbing” Jeffrey Epstein client list have resurfaced after the FBI said it does not exist.

Habba, who is acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey, appeared on British TV host Piers Morgan’s show Uncensored back in February to discuss the Epstein files.

She told Morgan, who has since called out the comments, that the list was disturbing and indicated that people could face the law over it.

Highlights
  • Senior Trump advisor Alina Habba called Epstein's client list 'incredibly disturbing' in a resurfaced interview.
  • An FBI and DOJ memo states there is no incriminating Epstein client list or credible evidence against uncharged third parties.
  • Prominent figures like Piers Morgan, Russell Brand, and Elon Musk have publicly challenged the official Epstein file narrative.

But a new FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) memo released this week says there is no client list, and that Epstein died by suicide in jail.

The announcement has not gone down well with MAGA Republicans and conspiracy theorists, who have been sharing the clip of Habba online.

In the interview, Habba said: “In Epstein’s case, it is incredibly disturbing. We have flight logs, we have information, names that will come out.”

“Is it going to be shocking?” Morgan asks.

“I don’t see how it’s not shocking—that there were so many individuals that were hidden and kept secret and not been held accountable,” she responded.

“I believe in accountability. So you have to now go through your process,” Habba added.

“Now, I won’t say they’re guilty until they go through their time in court. But again, now it’s time for accountability.”

Habba’s comments are now recirculating after the memo, published by Axios, stated there was “no incriminating ‘client list’” as well as “no credible evidence that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.”

Investigators also found “no evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”

A video showing Epstein locked alone in his cell from 10:40 p.m. on August 9, 2019 to around 6:30 a.m. the next day, when he was found unresponsive, was also released to debunk the conspiracy theory that he was murdered to stop him from revealing his associates.

But the memo said it would not release any further evidence that had been collected.

Morgan reshared the clip of Habba on X, writing: “Hmmm.. what happened?”

He is not the only one to question the comments, or previous assertions made by the Trump administration that files contained more information.

Russell Brand, the English comedian and media personality who is facing charges of rape and sexual assault, was among those to suggest the administration had succumbed to the “deep state.”

“We were promised the Epstein client list and flight logs—now we’re being told they don’t even exist,” he wrote on X.

“Wasn’t MAGA supposed to be a bulwark against exactly this kind of deep state obfuscation?”

During the 2024 presidential election, Trump promised to release the Epstein files and criticized the previous administration for not doing so.

FBI director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi have both previously promoted theories that Epstein had a client list of people to whom he was trafficking girls.

Just months ago, Bondi said the files were sitting on her desk ready to be reviewed after blaming the FBI for not handing over all the documents.

It came as some declassified files were released and met with intense disappointment from right-wing influencers as they held no new explosive revelations.

Bondi, at the time, blamed the FBI for not abiding by her directive to provide the “full and complete” set of Epstein-related documents.

Elon Musk, once a Trump ally but now a vocal critic, previously suggested Trump was implicated in the Epstein files before deleting the post during a public feud.

He has now promoted theories alleging that the government is covering up the truth after the publication of the memo.

Elon Musk also pushed back over the new memo

“If the entire government is protecting pedophiles, it has officially become the government against the people,” a post that was reshared by Musk said.

In another post, Musk shared an image showing a fake “Jeffrey Epstien pedophile arrest counter” and captioned it with: “What’s the time? Oh look, it’s no-one-has-been-arrested-o’clock again …”
